Application Engineer

What we expect

This is a full-time remote role for an Engineer specializing in Energy Storage Solutions. The Engineer will be responsible for the tasks below:

• Review RFx, tender documents,etc. from Customers and prepare technical proposal pacakge.
• Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders in the process of system sizing, simulation, proposal and bid package preparations.
• Technical support in various value streams throughout the development phase of the project until commissioning.
• Have 20% travel both Domestic and International based on project needs to visit Customers, sites, events, Partners, etc.

Skills

• Good knowledge about Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conditioning Systems (PCS), Energy Management System (EMS), and grid integraiton.
• Simulations of BESS and hybrid systems for sizing and performance is highly desirable.
• Familiar with concepts of PV plants, Wind plants and integration to BESS is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritise, work and deliver quality and timely output under minimal supervision is crucial.
• Self motivated, energetic individual with high level of team spirits and customer-centric attitude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electricals/Electronics/Power Systems/similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• 4-7 years experience in a similar industry/role
• Prefer Egyptian and accept relocate between Egypt as well as UAE
