You support our team as

Application Engineer - DGS Upgrades (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Provide application engineering support during sales and proposal phases,
  • Analyze customer requirements and existing machine data to define suitable sealing solutions,
  • Evaluate feasibility of applying Dry Gas Seals and auxiliary systems on centrifugal compressors, blowers, turboexpanders, and other rotating equipment,
  • Prepare feasibility studies, value propositions, and cost analyses,
  • Generate general arrangement drawings, P&IDs, and other technical documentation,
  • Participate in customer meetings and deliver technical presentations and recommendations,
  • Support the project from quotation to delivery, acting as the main technical interface,
  • Collaborate with partners and suppliers for associated scopes (e.g., rotor dynamic analysis, control system integration)

Qualifications

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in rotating equipment (especially centrifugal compressors),
  • Good command of English (written and spoken),
  • Ability to read CAD software outputs (AutoCAD, SolidWorks),
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to plan and execute own work,
  • Strong analytical mindset and result-oriented approach,
  • Knowledge of API 617 / API 692 standards is an advantage,
  • Field experience in the Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.
