Application Engineer - Generators

Job Summary:

Looking for an experienced Application Engineer with a strong background in diesel generator systems. We’re on the lookout for a driven and technically skilled professional to join our application team for our power generation projects.

If you have hands-on experience with generator sets, strong project coordination skills, and the drive to deliver client-focused solutions — we want to hear from you.

#KeyResponsibilities:

* Review technical specifications and prepare comprehensive technical & commercial offers, submittals, and O&M manuals etc for projects.

* Provide timely technical clarifications to consultants and clients to secure submittal approvals.

* Assist consultants and contractors with genset specifications, sizing, and application engineering.

* Coordinate and attend factory/warehouse inspections and witness testing with clients.

* Ensure timely and cost-effective equipment supply and project execution.

* Conduct post-manufacturing material audits to ensure compliance and quality.

* Build strong technical relationships with clients and act as a primary liaison for product specifications, approvals, and updates.

* Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to team success and knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications & Skills:

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

* 4–6 years of relevant experience in application engineering for diesel or gas generators.

* Solid understanding of power systems, genset configurations, and industry standards.

* Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Strong technical documentation and writing capabilities.
