Your opportunity:
As an Application Engineer I, you will provide technical application support, quote special product designs, and present application training programs for internal and external customers in our industry. The position demonstrates a basic understanding of rep network and sales channels.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Provide technical support assistance to product support team via phone and e-mail for both internal and external salespeople in the areas of product selection and application.
  • Develop and communicate solutions for product applications.
  • Gather information and provide resolution to field problems. May include travel for onsite support.
  • Understand and interpret industry codes and standards to determine product needs and requirements.
  • Assist with highlighting and communicating key selling points of our current products for delivery to our sales teams and customers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work to implement where applicable.
  • Become familiar with the competitor's products and apply this knowledge to the company's advantage.
  • Organize and present training to internal and external customers both onsite and offsite.
  • May assist with offsite events including planning, set-up, and basic customer interactions.
  • Develop awareness of industry related associations and their purpose.
  • Understanding of rep network and sales channels.
  • Manage individual projects in accordance with predetermined completion dates.
  • Document service calls to record data on product questions and field issues.
What you should have:
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience in engineering required.
  • 4 Year / bachelor’s degree in engineering required.

  • You will work on-site in Schofield, WI.
  • Travel may be required for this role.

The starting base pay range for this position is $74,985 - $92,629 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
