About the role
We are looking for a Application / Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Open Banking, production support, and incident resolution. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise-grade systems, with the ability to manage critical production environments, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure 24/7 system reliability. This role is onsite in KSA and requires readiness to provide after-hours support for high-priority incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary production support for Open Banking, including after working hours.
- Ensure successful technical resolution of all incidents raised by TPPs, PASPs, and in SAMA Confluence.
- Facilitate between Business teams and the APIC team for DR and Production Support activities.
- Generate SAMA Monthly APIC Reports.
- Provide technical development support in Open Banking programs.
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for Open Finance applications.
- Integrate microservices hosted on OpenShift and related clusters.
- Monitor system alerts, application logs, and performance metrics to detect anomalies and prevent disruptions.
- Perform incident analysis, system recovery, and validation with development, middleware, and infrastructure teams.
- Support deployments, environment maintenance, and DR activities in line with change management processes.
- Ensure application stability, security compliance, and adherence to operational standards.
- Maintain detailed runbooks, deployment records, and readiness checklists.
- Drive continuous improvement in service reliability, automation, and support processes.
Requirements:- 8+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or related roles.
- Strong experience with Open Banking, Open Finance, or API-driven banking ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience supporting microservices and OpenShift-based environments.
- Strong understanding of incident management, problem resolution, and production stability practices.
- Experience with monitoring tools, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of DR procedures, environment management, and change management workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with development, infrastructure, middleware, and business teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience in banking or financial domain preferred.
- Willingness to provide after-hours support as required.
