This is an entry level job
As an Application Support Analyst (ASA), you will support and maintain mission-critical application systems for the Department of Veterans Affairs, with a primary focus on AWS-hosted, Linux-based environments and Oracle-backed applications. Your technical contributions will support the evaluation and modernization of the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS).
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in application support, monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and systems analysis within a federal contracting environment. You will work with modern cloud and observability tools to help ensure system reliability, performance, and availability while supporting a platform that serves our nation’s veterans.
This position emphasizes AWS infrastructure, Linux operating systems, Oracle databases, and Dynatrace-based monitoring, rather than Microsoft-based technologies.
Team members may be required to participate in an on-call rotation. On-call coverage is 24/7 for one-week intervals, occurring approximately every 4–6 weeks depending on team size.

There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. Annual salary is just one component of Le'fant's total compensation package. Le'fant provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to, health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401k plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
