As an Application Support Analyst (ASA), you will support and maintain mission-critical application systems for the Department of Veterans Affairs, with a primary focus on AWS-hosted, Linux-based environments and Oracle-backed applications. Your technical contributions will support the evaluation and modernization of the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS).

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in application support, monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, and systems analysis within a federal contracting environment. You will work with modern cloud and observability tools to help ensure system reliability, performance, and availability while supporting a platform that serves our nation’s veterans.

This position emphasizes AWS infrastructure, Linux operating systems, Oracle databases, and Dynatrace-based monitoring, rather than Microsoft-based technologies.

Team members may be required to participate in an on-call rotation. On-call coverage is 24/7 for one-week intervals, occurring approximately every 4–6 weeks depending on team size.

Requirements:

• Education: High School or GED and 3 years' experience (AAT).
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must have lived in the US for the last 3 consecutive years (36 months)
• Must have the ability to obtain a lower to moderate level Clearance

You Have:

• 1+ years of experience with SQL
• 1+ years of experience with relational database systems and concepts, preferably Oracle
• 1+ years of experience with application monitoring or observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Grafana)
• 1+ years of experience with data and process analysis
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Foundational knowledge of software development and application lifecycles
• Ability to understand and follow cross-platform data flows
• Strong communication skills to explain application issues and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to troubleshoot application, system, or performance issues
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Annual salary is just one component of Le'fant's total compensation package. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
