About The Role

Experience

  • As an entry-level internship position, we require 0 years of professional experience, though candidates should demonstrate a background in academic projects, personal coding/IT labs, or university technical clubs.
  • Experience with basic scripting, managing personal servers, or academic coursework involving database queries and system administration is highly valued as evidence of a hands-on technical foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will assist the technical team in monitoring application health and diagnosing system performance issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Responsibilities include executing SQL queries to extract and analyze data, assisting in the configuration and maintenance of Windows and Linux server environments, troubleshooting network connectivity issues across TCP/IP protocols, and documenting technical resolutions in a centralized knowledge base to improve future support efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Technical proficiency must include foundational SQL for database management and a working knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of networking concepts such as HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and IP addressing is essential.
  • Soft skills required include strong analytical thinking, clear verbal and written communication for documenting technical issues, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team environment.

Education & Certification

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A strong academic record in subjects such as Database Systems, Operating Systems, and Networking is preferred to ensure a smooth transition into the technical duties of the role.

Additional Requirements

  • Additional qualifications that will make you stand out include exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, or experience with basic scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals are a plus, as is a demonstrated history of independent technical learning through platforms like GitHub or online labs.
