Role Overview
The Application Support Manager is responsible for leading a team to ensure optimal performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of business-critical applications. This role involves overseeing day-to-day support operations, resolving application issues, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the application support team, ensuring efficient operations and professional growth. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular team meetings. Application Maintenance and Support: Oversee the troubleshooting and resolution of application-related issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders. Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce application support policies, procedures, and best practices. Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with business users to understand their requirements and deliver solutions to improve application usability. Liaise with external vendors for issue resolution and system improvements. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on application performance, issue resolution metrics, and team productivity. Maintain accurate documentation of workflows, processes, and system configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong expertise in application management and support. Proficiency in incident management tools and ticketing systems. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Knowledge principles and service delivery standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills
Experience with enterprise-level applications, system integrations, and database management. Certifications in relevant technical areas. Experience with cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
