Job Description

Working closely with CEO and team in a small business environment, our Applications Engineer will handle inbound customer sales & service issues and develop applications expertise in service to product development and growth of our next generation family of high-pressure chemical metering pumps. We are a growth oriented company with products that are utilized in precision fluid dosing/metering/flow injection process in chemistry R&D. We serve an attractive niche market with a globally recognized brand and blue-chip customer base.

Responsibilities

• Develop Application Sales Expertise and field customer service calls, actively develop sales pipeline and solicit feedback from customers
  • Manage inbound/outbound sales prospecting utilizing ODOO CRM
  • Identify application verticals and pursue attractive sales growth opportunities
    
• Eldex Brand Ambassador - take pride in company history, product quality, customer success. Represent company in phone calls, video conf meetings with customers. Coordinate exhibition and attend 2-3 industry trade shows/year.
• Product development coordination: Contribute to product development and release schedule, deliver on-time and on-budget utilizing a team of outsourced software and mechanical engineers
  • Conduct software testing & debugging for product development
• Using scientific process, perform functional applications-based testing to help develop product functionality and usability
  • Pulsation minimization testing
  • Pressure and flow tests
    
• Using external consultants, coordinate & produce product user manual for next generation metering pump
• Contribute to CE electronics approval process
• Write 6 blog posts /year
  • 3 applications specific
  • 3 product/corporate/general news
• Additional duties as assigned

Required Skills / Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Chemistry background / laboratory experience
• Software / Electrical / Electronics experience in scientific instrumentation preferred
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills required
• Ability to work independently and with a small team to achieve goals
• Take ownership of results, anticipate and solve problems
