Role & Responsibilities:

Research and analyse integration technologies, architecture, design, conduct analysis, prepare recommendations and facilitate efficiency enhancements.

Develop business requirement documents and specifications.

Support the review and understand integrations design and process requirements to develop software functional specifications for optimization/continuous improvement projects.

Organise system integration, software integration test planning, testing, and commissioning for the application integration landscape.

Ensure proper application lifecycle and version management by following up every software integration release into production environment while acting as hyper care support.

Work as directed by management team to research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processes.

Coordinate troubleshooting calls for Incidents Priority 1 to 4 acting as the incident manager when an issue is presented at the application level, impacting regular operations

Analyse data and work with management to develop IT application and solutions.

Work closely with the terminal operational and functional team to identify and implement improvements to business operations, services and models.

Ensure proper integration of vendor engineering solutions into the overall terminal engineering documentation.

Ensure SLAs are met on a daily basis; testing time and post go live.

Collaborate with the Global/Group IT to identify opportunities to modernize, streamline and standardize the terminal tech portfolio.

Participate in the development of root cause analysis for major incidents impacting the terminal operations and ensure identified countermeasures are deployed as planned.

In consultation with the Terminal IT Manager, define the terminal Tech portfolio modernization, infrastructure simplification and applications.
Desired Candidate Profile:

We are seeking an experienced Applications owner with a background in container terminal operations or related industries such as marine, logistics, or ports, and hands-on experience in implementing and supporting both TOS, GOS and automation solutions critical to container terminal operations

The incumbent shall have gained expertise in Gate, ERP, OCR technology and terminal IT automation, the design, implementation and management of Terminal Operations System and its integrations with Port systems and Customers.

The ability to collaborate seamlessly and build strong stakeholder relationships by displaying empathy, personal tact, cultural understanding and communication skills.

The ideal candidate shall have proven functional excellence and the ability to produce high-quality work under pressure (time and resources) and to apply analytical thinking and creative problem solving to daily tasks.
