Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist/BT/RBT

Join our dynamic team as an Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist/Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This energetic position offers the opportunity to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, assist with daily living skills, and foster meaningful progress in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. You will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavior change and enhance quality of life through structured, data-driven strategies.

Duties

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients’ developmental goals.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care skills.
  • Support teaching of communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and session logs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers by providing training, guidance, and support to reinforce therapeutic strategies at home.
  • Ensure a safe environment by managing behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavioral interventions in various settings.
  • Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and patient care protocols.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to medical records and confidentiality.
  • Effective teaching abilities combined with patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience documenting in medical records or care plans related to behavioral health. Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
