Applied Behavioral Analyst / Personal Care Assistant Early Intervention

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Applied Behavioral Analyst / Personal Care Assistant for Early Intervention to support young children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral therapies, primarily applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote skill development and improve quality of life. You will work closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care that fosters growth, independence, and positive behavioral changes. Duties

  • Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions utilizing applied behavior analysis techniques to children with developmental disabilities and autism
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment plans and ensure measurable outcomes
  • Assist with patient assessments, including behavioral health evaluations and diagnostic screenings, to determine needs and develop intervention strategies
  • Support families through education on behavioral strategies, intervention plans, and progress updates while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Conduct intake assessments and contribute to the development of personalized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, records of therapy sessions, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including special education professionals and healthcare providers—to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral therapy, medical documentation, and best practices in early intervention

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in educational or clinical settings, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques for behavior modification and skill acquisition
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting within a healthcare or educational context
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Background in special education or behavioral health services is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Pay: $25.03 - $30.15 per hour
