Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and highly organised Appointment Scheduler to join our team in a remote capacity. This is a full-time and part time, home-based position, ideal for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and coordination skills. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our service appointments, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers and optimising the efficiency of our field technicians. This role is fundamental to our daily operations and customer satisfaction.


Job Title: Appointment Scheduler (Remote)

Salary: $24 - $40 USD per hour



Responsibilities


* Manage and coordinate all customer service appointments, including new installations, maintenance visits, and support calls.

* Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments as necessary.

* Efficiently organise and optimise the daily schedules of our field technicians to maximise productivity and minimise travel time.

* Maintain and update the company's scheduling database with accurate, real-time information.

* Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their appointment details, providing clear and timely information.

* Liaise with internal teams, including technical support and customer service, to ensure all appointment requirements are met.

* Proactively identify and resolve potential scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth service delivery.

* Prepare and distribute daily or weekly schedules to relevant staff members.



Qualifications


* Proven experience in a role involving scheduling, administration, or customer service coordination.

* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous telephone manner.

* Proficiency in using scheduling software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

* The ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to remain calm and efficient under pressure.

* Previous experience in the telecommunications or broadband industry is desirable but not essential.
