Duties

• Conduct comprehensive property inspections, gathering detailed data on physical characteristics, location, and condition using tools such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software.
• Analyze market trends, comparable sales, and financial information to determine property values accurately.
• Utilize appraisal software to enter data and adjust for market trends.
• Stay current on industry best practices, updates in real estate appraisal standards, and changes in state regulations affecting property valuation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in real estate appraisal or related fields such as accounting, construction, or tax assessment.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including financial analysis, report writing, and data collection techniques.
• Familiarity with construction processes and building valuation methods.
• Experience with GIS tools and geographic data analysis is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform quantitative research and apply mathematical principles accurately.
