Apprentice Auto Technician for Luxury Automotive Brand

AAG has limited opportunities for Automotive Technician Apprentices to work with a luxury brand in the Indianapolis areas. This brand offers a direct career path toward master technician training upon completion of apprenticeship with AAG.

Unlike entry level apprenticeship with AAG, candidates pursuing this route will require some hands on experience or education.

• High School automotive training program / CTE courses in Automotive Technology
• ASE certification (A1 / G1 - It is okay if you have not met work requirements)
• Oil, tire, or lube experience in a retail customer service environment
• Military training or certifications **Ask about GI Benefits available**
• College, Job Corps, or OEM automotive training program

What is Apprenticeship with AAG?

This apprenticeship is a fully sponsored, tuition-free, paid apprenticeship that will help individuals fast track through ASE certification, earn a Department of Labor Industry recognized qualification, and begin their career path with a high performance automotive brand. Apprentices will work full time, complete course and ASE prep work online, and attend classes relevant to their growth on the job. AAG will provide a career mentor to make sure you have the support needed to make it over the finish line and purse your next step toward Master technician.

To qualify:

• You must display professional communication and provide at least two professional references
• Be a team player and have a willingness to learn
• Have some technical / mechanical skills or abilities (or can pass an aptitude test)
• Must be career minded. This is not just a job, this is the start of your career!
• Pass a background / Drug Test
• Have a valid drivers license with acceptible driving record.
• Have an excellent record for attendance
• Have a passion for cars and a great attention to detail
• Is serious about their career and will undergo hands on training on the job but commit to managing their own education off the job with the tools provided by AAG.
