Apprentice Dental Nurse

Impressions Dental Care is a small family run dental practice in the heart of Doncaster providing a range of NHS and private dental care.

An oppportunity has arisen for an apprentice dental nurse to join our team.

A successful candidates will provide support to dentist, hygienists and patients and assist in other tasks to keep the practice running smoothly. Some of the jobs listed below will be part of your day to day activities

• Providing chairside assistance to Dentists
• Prepare the nessasary materials and instruments
• Building relationships with patients
• Mangaing patients appointments
• Processing Lab requests/Xrays
• Making sure all equiptment is sterilised and ready
• Gaining experience in a wide range of dental treatments

Requirements

GCSE Grade 9 - 4 (A* to C) in Maths and English

• Punctual
• IT litterate
• Positive attitude to learning and developing new skills
• Good communication and listening skills
• A friendly and aprochable personallity

Working Week

Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm with a 1 hour Lunch break

38.75 hours per week

Occasional ad-hoc hours including some late nights (Up to 6:30pm) and Saturdays (Ordinarily up to one Saturday per month on a rota basis)

Qualifications

A succsessful candidate will go on to achieve a City and Guilds Level Three Diploma in Dental Nursing.
