Requirements:

· A high school diploma or equivalent

· A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements

· A self-starter attitude that can work with little or no supervision

· Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to adapt and learn quickly

· Excellent communication and people skills

· Personal Hand Tools required to complete electrical work, includes multi-meter, insulated screwdrivers, wire strippers, battery operated drill with bits, pouches, and hot stick

· Minimum of 2 years' experience in the electrical trade with experience in the following:

o Working with other trades in conflict resolution

o Preforming the installation of conduits, feeders, boxes, building lighting, site lighting transformers, panels, breakers, service entrance conductors, switchgear (in both residential and commercial settings), underground conduit, lighting control panels, service disconnects, terminating, bonding, grounding, in all single and three-phase configurations

o Installation of ceiling fans, GFCI receptacles, 3-way and 4-way switches

o Familiar with NEC (NFPA 70) code relating to installation and ground practices of outlets, switches, and lights

· Able to perform all duties in a safe and professional manner

· Ability to work independently after given daily tasks from electrical Journeyman

· Able to carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.

· Able to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment

· Able to work overtime if required with short notice

· Able to work alternative shifts or weekends from time to time to meet customer and/or job requirements

Responsibilities:

· Reports daily to electrical Journeyman

· Receives specific set of directions from the electrical Journeyman to meet project schedule

· Assigned daily electrical tasks based on the specific guidance from the electrical Journeyman

· Ensures all work is performed in a safe manner

· Manages materials assigned to preform work as directed by electrical Journeyman

· Assists on-site electricians in the installation of all electrical work

· Cleans up general work site of all trash due to electrical work

· Keeps site and work well organized and clean

· Reports material needs, directs questions to, and assists electrical Journeyman to ensure task are completed in a timely and efficient manner
