Apprentice Engineer

We are a successful design consultancy who due to planned growth and new project awards are seeking a Mechanical Engineer Apprentice and Electrical Engineer Apprentice to join on a permanent basis. As an apprentice, your day-to-day tasks will vary, as we’ll expose you to all aspects of our work. You could be;

• Using the latest computer modelling software CAD and Revit giving you experience of producing 2D and 3D mechanical or electrical drawings within building services.
• Continuous CPD and learning opportunities, researching ground-breaking technologies
• Your typical work might include helping design building services systems, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing layouts. Also assisting with electrical loads or heating and cooling demands.
• Attending site surveys
• Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams

You will have a dedicated mentor who will supervise and support you through your apprenticeship. Any support with your learning will be provided in-house.

You will be granted a one day a week study leave to attend a remote learning course working towards high level qualifications within Building Services. Depending on your experience the apprenticeship will be for approximately 2 years and can provide a route to gain Chartered Engineer status.
