Duties

• Assist with the measurement, cutting, and fabrication of glass and related materials using hand tools and power tools.
• Support the installation of glass panels, windows, doors, mirrors, and other fixtures on construction sites or remodeling projects.
• Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute glazing tasks.
• Help with the preparation of surfaces through caulking, trimming, framing, and carpentry techniques such as metal stud framing and door hanging.
• Participate in heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safe and efficient project progress.
• Contribute to the assembly and installation of fixtures, cabinetry, and trim carpentry components.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices.
• Willingness to learn construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication techniques.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards.
• Prior experience in construction, remodeling, handyman work or carpentry is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
