Apprentice Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working alongside skilled professionals. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist with various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Help with pipe threading, assembly, and installation of fixtures and appliances.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
• Participate in construction plumbing tasks including remodeling and maintenance projects.
• Gain experience in HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing functions.
• Support field service operations by responding to service calls as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Basic understanding of plumbing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with construction processes and terminology.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
• Proficiency in basic math for measuring and calculating dimensions.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively.
• Previous construction site experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of welding techniques may be advantageous.
• Experience in carpentry or maintenance person services is beneficial.
