We are seeking a motivated and diligent Apprentice Plumber to join our team. Duties

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures
• Learn to operate welding equipment for specialised pipework tasks
• Support with the assembly of plumbing components and systems
• Conduct basic measurements and calculations using mathematical skills to ensure accurate fitting and installation
• Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects where necessary
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all tasks

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and mechanical systems is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial
• Experience with welding, hand tools, power tools, carpentry, or assembly is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
• Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
• Valid driving licence for commercial driving duties is desirable but not mandatory at entry level
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to undertake training in plumbing techniques and safety procedures
