Apprentice Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our 4 year Union Apprentice Program team. This position is in the union and ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working alongside skilled professionals. The Apprentice Plumber will assist with various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects on commercial sites.

**This is a 4 year Union Apprentice Program Compensation includes Plumbing school.

**Starting Pay rate is set by Union

**Annual increases based on schooling and work tenure.

Duties

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Participate in pipe threading and assembly processes under supervision.
• Gain experience with construction plumbing techniques and practices.
• Support field service operations by assisting with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
• Develop mechanical knowledge through hands-on training in plumbing systems

Requirements

• Prior experience in plumbing and maintenance roles.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting
• Previous experience in plumbing or skilled trades
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
