Responsibilities

• Support senior plumbers in installing and repairing plumbing systems on construction sites.
• Assist with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures.
• Participate in pipe threading, fitting, and soldering tasks under supervision.
• Help with site preparation, including layout work and material handling for plumbing installations.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.
• Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues related to plumbing, and related mechanical components.

Skills

• Basic understanding of construction practices and plumbing systems.
• Experience with construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and use of hand tools.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and general building maintenance.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently on construction sites.
• Field service experience or handyman skills are a plus.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installation tasks.
• Knowledge of carpentry or remodeling work is advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to learn new skills such as assembly, maintenance, and pipe fitting techniques. Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
