Duties

• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and HVAC systems on construction sites or existing facilities
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques safely and effectively under supervision
• Support pipe fitting, assembly, remodeling, and system testing activities to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and HVAC components to identify issues and support preventative maintenance
• Participate in site cleanup, material handling, and equipment setup to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Develop foundational skills in mechanical knowledge, carpentry, schematics interpretation, and field service operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school experience is a plus but not required
• Basic understanding of construction practices and familiarity with construction plumbing or related trades preferred
• Willingness to learn welding techniques, pipe threading, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills accurately for measurements and calculations
• Strong interest in HVAC systems, mechanical work, remodeling projects, or handyman tasks
• Good physical condition with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights as needed
