Lightning Restoration is hiring an Apprentice Restoration Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level apprenticeship role for someone who wants to learn the water, mold, fire, and property restoration industry from the ground up.

We are looking for motivated people who take pride in hard work, pay close attention to detail, and want a real opportunity to grow in a skilled trade.

What You Will Learn

You will receive hands-on training in:

• Water damage cleanup and drying
• Mold remediation support
• Fire and smoke damage cleanup
• Demolition and job-site preparation
• Equipment setup and monitoring
• Cleaning, packing, moving, and protecting customer property
• Job-site safety and documentation
• Working with a team in emergency restoration situations

What We Are Looking For

The right candidate will be:

• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Able to work overtime when needed
• Able to work in hot, wet, dirty, or damaged properties
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for long periods
• Able to safely lift and carry equipment and materials as required for the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Interested in advancement and building a long-term career in the restoration industry

Experience

No restoration experience is required. We will train the right person.

Experience in construction, cleaning, demolition, moving, handyman work, labor, maintenance, or other hands-on trades is helpful, but not required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass any required background check
• Ability to work overtime and emergency response shifts when needed
• Willingness to follow company safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
