Job Summary:
Alliance Group is seeking an experienced, full-time HVAC Service Technician Apprentice based in West Lebanon, NH to join our growing Service team.
The HVAC Service Technician Apprentice will be field-based and responsible for assisting with installation, routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of Commercial HVAC/R and related Mechanical systems. Individuals must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and customer service, and be a team player. We are willing to train the right person!!
Key Responsibilities
- Safely assist in performing preventative maintenance routines for commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Understand the process for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems
- Learn to read/interpret blueprints and specifications
- Utilize core skills such as using a variety of industry recognized methods, including hand tools, gauges, and power tools to assist in maintenance and repairs of commercial HVAC systems.
- Wear and maintain all required safety equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain records and documentation of time worked, equipment, and work performed.
- Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job.
- Clean the job site after the work is completed.
Essential Qualifications and Competencies
- 6 months experience in construction is preferred
- Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player.
- Must be able to follow directions from a senior technician.
- Knowledge of Build-Ops platform desired
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently
- High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion, and integrity
- Must possess proactive, positive problem-solving skills
- Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team play
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
- U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
- Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
- A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.
