Apprentice Timber Machinist/Technologist

WRP Timber Mouldings is a manufacturing woodwork company, producing high quality timber mouldings out of our workshop based in Newport. We are an online company and have had great success with online sales and distribution through our tailor-made website, supplying to a variety of trade professions across the country.

Opportunity to start a career in a niche field and grow within the company. Looking for energetic person who wants to participate in manual work with a good head for problem solving.

You’ll be working as part of a friendly team within our workshop premises. Various tasks and responsibilities within a busy production and dispatch environment.

You’ll be working with our skilled staff and trained on:

• Multi ripsaw
• Bandsaw
• Chop saw
• Six and seven head CNC moulders.
• Five axis CNC router, programming and production use & jig making.
• Tool settings
• Grinding and tool measuring
• Four way forklift
• Production procedures
• Our online in-house bespoke website
• Hand finishing and checking
• Several levels of training with rewards and salary increases at each level.
