We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our existing teams in Production as an Apprentice Welder/ Fabricator.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in ensuring that all products are manufactured in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and production systems.

Use welding techniques such as MIG and TIG to weld mild steel and stainless steel materials.

Perform basic workshop tasks such as drilling, countersinking, and tapping holes, while developing proficiency with tools and machinery.

Contribute to the assembly of mechanical components, including intermediate conveyor sections and other equipment, under supervision.

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and execute tasks.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and consistently wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Accurately record time spent on tasks and ensure all job activities are correctly logged in the company’s time booking system.

Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and that associated documentation is completed accurately and stored appropriately.

Demonstrate effective time management and contribute to the efficient completion of assigned tasks.

Check that all tools and equipment are in good working condition. Promptly report any defects or issues to the supervisor.

Attend all required training sessions and actively engage in learning opportunities as outlined in the apprenticeship agreement.
