What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out industrial electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and inspection
- Supporting project delivery to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
- Working closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and industry standards
- Performing diagnostics, fault‑finding, and corrective work on industrial systems
- Ensuring compliance with BS7671:2018 (18th Edition) and Round Oak Electrical safety procedures
- Contributing to risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Maintaining clear communication with colleagues, clients, and management
- Training other staff members
What You’ll Bring
- Solid experience in the electrical industry, ideally within industrial or multi‑sector environments
- A proven ability to deliver work safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Hands‑on background as an Installation Electrician
- Confidence managing varied workloads and adapting to changing site demands
- A friendly, reliable approach with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working on whole industrial sites
Qualifications & Certifications
- ECS Approved Electrician Card
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Advanced inspection & testing qualifications
- 18th Edition (BS7671:2018)
- SMSTS
