APRN or PA Wound Care Provider

We are expanding our clinical team and are seeking a PART- TIME Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide wound care to residents in skilled nursing, long-term care, and rehabilitation facilities throughout the North West Arkansas area, including Springdale and Fayetteville areas.

This role is facility-based and dedicated to serving nursing home residents, allowing providers to focus on high-quality, patient-centered care without the demands of acute care settings. The position offers no call, no weekends, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Position Highlights

  • Nursing home–focused practice
  • No call and no weekend requirements
  • Travel limited to facilities within the North West Arkansas region, including mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive wound care services, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing management
  • Deliver podiatry-related care to long-term care and rehabilitation residents within assigned facilities
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, therapy teams, and facility leadership to ensure continuity of care
  • Document clinical findings and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to promote healing and prevent complications
  • Educate facility staff and patients on wound prevention, foot care, and best practices
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and documentation standards

Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Arkansas
  • Experience or strong interest in wound care, as well as previous long-term care work experience.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Wound Care Certification a plus, but we are willing to train and help you obtain these as well!
