Aquarium Store Manager

Triad Aquatic Services is a family owned retail aquatic store in Greensboro, NC. We are customer-centric, fast-paced and creative. We specialize in helping customers be successful in the aquarium hobby. We work with individual and businesses, both in the field and in the store.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and direction to ensure store is managed in accordance with our business culture of providing optimum customer satisfaction, while creating an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect for our employees.
• Responsible for managing the staffing requirements to meet overall sales objectives
• Implement customer service requirements for the store to ensure that our customers have a positive experience
• Manage the overall staffing requirements to ensure the store has adequate, trained employees to meet business needs, especially during peak or seasonal periods.
• Perform store merchandising activities, including making sure hard good shelves and rack are neatly organized and properly stocked on a daily basis
• Work with service department to ensure proper scheduling of deliveries and installation of purchased equipment
• Work with store personnel to make sure livestock displays are maintained adequately
• Work with Inventory Specialist to make sure inventory is maintained at an adequate level
• Work with customers on the sales floor for equipment, hard good, and livestock sales
• Open/close store

Requirements:

• Must have prior management experience (pet or aquatic store experience a plus)
• 3+ years of retail experience (again, pet or aquatic store experience a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or G Suite, email, social media, and other basic computer functions. Experience with Square POS a plus
• Strong sales and customer service skills are a must.
• Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift, to run the store is important, as well as the ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, have reliable transportation, and be 18 years or older.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,500.00 - $47,500.00 per year
