AR Executive (Females)

About the Role

MaxRemind is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented AR Executive to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing insurance claim follow-ups, resolving denials, and ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in Medical Billing and Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on unpaid, denied, and pending insurance claims through insurance portals and calls.
  • Analyze claim denials and take appropriate corrective actions to secure payments.
  • Prepare and submit appeals for denied or underpaid claims.
  • Verify claim status and ensure timely processing of outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Work closely with insurance representatives to resolve claim-related issues.
  • Update patient and insurance information accurately in the billing system.
  • Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs).
  • Maintain accurate records of all claim follow-up activities and account updates.
  • Identify billing errors and coordinate with relevant departments for corrections.
  • Meet productivity and quality targets while maintaining compliance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Generate reports and provide updates on claim status and collections performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Medical Billing, Accounts Receivable, or Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Familiarity with insurance claims processing, denial management, and appeals.
  • Hands-on experience with insurance portals and claim follow-up procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of medical billing terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
