Arabic Copywriter – Onsite Merchandising

We are seeking a results-driven Arabic Copywriter specializing in Onsite Merchandising. You will be responsible for crafting high-converting Arabic copy for product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional banners. This role requires a blend of creative flair and data-informed strategy to ensure our products resonate with Arabic-speaking consumers across the GCC region.


Key Responsibilities

• Onsite Content Creation: Write, edit, and optimize Arabic copy for product detail pages (PDPs), product listing pages (PLPs), category descriptions, and homepage banners to drive user engagement and conversion.

• Localized Adaptation: Translate create and adapt English merchandising campaigns into culturally relevant Arabic that maintains the original brand intent.

• SEO Optimization: Integrate high-performing keywords into Arabic copy to improve search visibility and organic traffic.

• Collaboration: Work closely with visual merchandisers, designers, and category managers to align copy with seasonal launches and promotional events.

• Brand Voice Maintenance: Ensure a consistent and distinctive brand voice across all onsite touchpoints, from promotional push notifications to in-depth product guides.

• Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of the site to ensure accuracy in product details and linguistic precision. Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Literature, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

• Experience: 1+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or a digital agency.

• Language Skills: Native-level fluency in Arabic with excellent grammar and writing skills; professional proficiency in English.

• Market Insight: Deep understanding of GCC cultural nuances, regional dialects, and local consumer shopping behaviours.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), SEO tools, and basic Microsoft Office.

• Conversion-Centric Writing: Ability to write persuasive CTAs and product copy that motivates user action.

• Time Management: Proven ability to handle high-volume product launches under tight deadlines. • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional proofreading skills to ensure zero errors in published onsite content.
