Arabic Language Teacher - Dubai, UAE

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for an Arabic Language Teacher  to provide both  in-person & online  customized lessons to one of our clients in Dubai.

• Student/s: 1 adult
• Availability: Student has a flexible schedule on weekdays
• Preferred start date: As soon as a teacher is available
• Lesson frequency: 1-2 times a wee
• Lesson duration: 1.5 hours
• Student’s location/time zone: Dubai, UAE, UTC +04:00
• Preferred platform: Anything that works
• Address: Office preferred (Jebel Ali Free Zone) or can also arrange some of the courses at his home
• Current language level: Complete beginner 
• Native and other spoken languages: French native, English (fluent), Italian (fluent), German (Intermediate), Polish (Intermediate)
• Language needs and goals: He wants being able to interact with Arabic people. A minimum of comprehension and interaction. Building vocabulary, Reading and writing, Pronunciation and local accents, Sharing feedback and opinions, Job-related vocabulary, How to be polite in the new country, Parenting in the new country, Ordering at restaurants, Presentation tips, Giving compliments
• Student’s interests: Cars, travels, sports, photography, geopolitics
• Additional Information: He enjoys conversation practice during lessons.  He learned 2 new languages during his career, and what he liked the most was to base most of the courses on listening comprehension and speaking, for all the everyday things

Responsibilities :

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications :

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of Arabic teaching experience
