1. About the role
Tafawwaq is seeking experienced Arabic-speaking Physics teachers to deliver high-quality one-on-one virtual lessons through the Tafawwaq platform. This is a paid freelance opportunity, not an employee position.
Teachers manage their own availability, teach through Tafawwaq’s online classroom tools, and support students with personalized Physics instruction in Arabic based on their academic level, curriculum, and learning goals.
We welcome teachers who can teach Physics in Arabic across school levels and international curricula, including mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, thermodynamics, optics, modern physics, exam preparation, and homework support.
2. What you’ll do
- Deliver engaging one-on-one online Physics lessons in Arabic.
- Explain Physics concepts clearly using Arabic instruction.
- Teach topics such as mechanics, motion, forces, energy, electricity, magnetism, waves, optics, thermodynamics, and modern physics.
- Adapt lessons to each student’s level, pace, learning goals, and curriculum requirements.
- Support students with homework guidance, concept mastery, school assignments, lab-related concepts, and exam preparation.
- Help students build confidence in Physics through clear explanations, examples, and guided problem-solving.
- Use digital tools effectively during lessons, including video, screen sharing, and interactive whiteboard features.
- Maintain a professional tutor profile with accurate information about qualifications, Physics teaching experience, availability, and teaching approach.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students and families through the platform.
- Follow platform standards for professionalism, privacy, student safety, and academic integrity.
3. What we’re looking for
- Strong expertise in teaching Physics.
- Fluency in Arabic, with the ability to teach Physics clearly in Arabic.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience in online or in-person settings.
- Ability to teach students at different levels, from middle school to secondary school or advanced levels.
- Knowledge of Physics topics such as mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, optics, thermodynamics, and exam preparation.
- Experience with school curricula, IB, IGCSE, SAT, AP, A-Level, or other international programs is preferred.
- Clear communication skills and a student-focused teaching style.
- Comfort using online teaching tools and managing virtual sessions.
- Ability to provide accurate information about qualifications, experience, and availability.
- Professional reliability, responsiveness, and commitment to high-quality instruction.
4. Compensation
This is a paid, session-based freelance role. Compensation details will be shared with shortlisted candidates during the onboarding process.
