Arborist/Tree worker with CDL

Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Arborist/Tree workers/ CDL drivers to join our team. Pioneer Tree Service is a highly rated family owned/operated small business with 60+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health, safety, pruning, removal and appearance of trees on the jobsites. This is a hands-on role that requires a passion for tree care, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Candidates will have a deep understanding of arboriculture practices, ability to be self-sufficient, and committed to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities:

· Perform routine tree care tasks, including pruning, trimming, and removing trees as needed.

· Utilize equipment to access high-reaching areas of trees, clear away branches, logs, stumps, pruning and tree removal.

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services and timely job completion.

· Operate various equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, leaf blower and other hand tools.

· Implement and maintain a strong work ethic, arrive on time daily to ensure seamless operations.

· Candidates must have the stamina needed to meet the physical demands of the job.

Experience:

We are willing to train the right candidate!

· Minimum 3 years experience required in arboriculture, lawncare or a related field.

· Proven track record of providing high-quality tree care or landscaping services.

· Experience with driving larger trucks, operating chainsaws and other various hand tools.

· Experience with lift equipment, chippers, bucket trucks, towing trailers, etc., is preferred but not required

· Ability to work safely at heights, on the ground and in challenging environmental conditions.

Skills:

· Proficiency with bucket operation and aerial lift equipment is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of tree care practices, including pruning, trimming, and removal is preferred but not required.

· Experience with lawn care and landscape maintenance.

· Familiarity with horticulture and arboriculture principles is preferred but not required.

· Ability to operate various equipment, including chainsaws, chipper, leaf blower and other hand tools.

· Excellent problem-solving skills, safety techniques and positive attitude. We work as a team and each person has a valuable role in the completion of jobs.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Equipment and safety gear will be provided- but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation to Hollis, NH.

· Must be 18 years or older.

· Pay range is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour based on experience
