Arcade Manufacturing Assembler

Paradox Arcade Systems is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team. Primary duties encompass a wide range of tasks including component installation, cable management, woodworking, stocking and packing, and maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, good communication and organizational skills, and have a desire to grow with the company. Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the operation, and maintenance of manufacturing machines and equipment.
  • Use hand tools or machines to assemble arcade cabinets and components.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Operate printing and machining equipment and troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Assist with packaging, which consists of shrink wrapping the final product and sometimes crating or boxing, and assisting shipping personnel.
  • Follow established safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Clean and maintain the work area and equipment, including tools, and help to clean the workshop manufacturing area at the end of each shift.
  • Communicate with supervisor and team members to ensure that deadlines are met and work completed to satisfactory quality standards, quickly reporting any errors and responding to constructive feedback and instruction.

  • Have excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and receive constructive criticism.
  • Ability to bend and lift 55 pounds.
  • Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Have solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry.
