Common responsibilities for an architect

• Client consultation: Meeting with clients to understand their needs, requirements, budget, and desired timeline.
• Design and planning: Developing innovative design concepts and preparing detailed drawings, schematics, and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software.
• Cost estimation: Providing preliminary estimates for construction costs and project timelines.
• Documentation: Creating comprehensive construction documents, blueprints, and specifications for contractors and builders.
• Compliance and regulations: Ensuring all plans comply with local building codes, zoning laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Project management: Managing the overall design process, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and overseeing the project budget and schedule.
• Site supervision: Visiting construction sites to monitor progress, ensure the build adheres to the architectural plans, and resolve any issues that arise.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to design and oversee the construction of new buildings and alterations to existing structures. The Architect will meet with clients to determine project goals, create designs, prepare construction documents, and manage projects from conception to completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Professional architectural license required.
• Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
• Expert proficiency with architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Strong knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant quality standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating artistic and technical skills.
• Develop design concepts and produce detailed architectural plans, drawings, and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software.
• Ensure all designs and plans comply with local, state, and federal building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications for bidding and regulatory approval.
• Collaborate with engineers, construction managers, and other professionals to integrate technical elements into the overall design.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with architectural plans.
• Address design issues and provide solutions during the construction phase.
• Manage project timelines, schedules, and budgets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
