Architect

China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) is recruiting an Architectural Engineer (Facade) to join our team in a new High Rise Tower Project in Dubai, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review facade designs, drawings, specifications, and BOQs, and recommend modifications based on site conditions.

Coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders to address technical queries and identify discrepancies before and after tendering.

Manage and supervise a team of architectural and structural draftsmen in the preparation of detailed shop drawings for facade systems.

Ensure proper coordination with MEP requirements and other disciplines.

Review material requests from site, analyze requirements, and submit for approval in line with project specifications.

Evaluate construction methodologies and recommend cost-effective solutions for facade installation and project completion.

Participate in the selection and evaluation of subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants related to facade works.

Prepare and review Method Statements for facade installation and submit them for consultant approval.

Attend weekly progress meetings with clients and consultants, addressing and resolving critical facade-related issues.

Liaise with subcontractors, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth coordination and timely technical clearances.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Architect/Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in High Rise Tower Projects
