Architect – Fit-Out & Renovations Company

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect with hands-on UAE experience in fit-out and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in architectural design, 3D visualization, technical detailing, and project coordination. This role requires frequent site visits to conduct site measurements, assess existing conditions, monitor project progress, ensure design accuracy, and coordinate effectively with site teams, consultants, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, detailed designs, construction drawings, and technical documentation for fit-out and renovation projects.
• Conduct site visits to perform accurate site measurements, verify dimensions, assess existing conditions, and gather information required for design development.
• Prepare 3D visualizations, high-quality renderings, walkthroughs, flythrough animations, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, suppliers, and clients throughout all project stages.
• Monitor site progress to ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.
• Resolve on-site architectural and design-related issues by providing practical technical solutions.
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, finish schedules, and technical submissions.
• Produce detailed shop drawings, joinery details, and as-built drawings where required.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and industry standards.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and material selection sessions.
• Maintain Modern Space's standards of creativity, quality, accuracy, and timely project delivery.
• Participate in client meetings during project acquisition by understanding client requirements, conducting site assessments, preparing design proposals, and presenting architectural concepts.
• Maintain effective communication with clients throughout project implementation, providing progress updates, addressing design changes, resolving technical queries, and ensuring successful project delivery and handover.

RequirementsEducation

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Master's Degree in Architecture or Design is an advantage.

Licensing & Experience

• Valid architectural license.
• Minimum 3 years of professional architectural experience in a fitout or construction company in UAE.
• Mandatory UAE experience in a fit-out and renovation company.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating completed architectural and interior fit-out projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong expertise in 3D modeling, rendering, walkthroughs, and architectural animation.
• Excellent knowledge of architectural detailing, joinery, and interior fit-out construction methods.
• Experience preparing detailed shop drawings, working drawings, and technical submissions.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to prepare BOQs, material schedules, and project documentation.
• Experience conducting site measurements, preparing accurate measured drawings, and coordinating site verification activities.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
