- A. Leadership & Team Management
- • Lead, mentor, and supervise the design team (concept designers, detailers, draftsmen, 3D visualizers).
- • Establish design workflows, SOPs, and quality standards for both wood and metal joinery.
- • Conduct regular reviews of team performance and provide training for continuous improvement.

- B. Design Development
- • Oversee creation of concepts, BOQs, technical drawings, cutting lists, and shop drawings.
- • Ensure designs are manufacturable in both wood (ply, MDF, veneer, laminate, solid wood) and metal (MS, SS, aluminium).
- • Approve all technical drawings before release to production.

- C. Coordination & Communication
- • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, QA/QC, and project teams.
- • Participate in client meetings to understand design intent, technical requirements, and feasibility.
- • Coordinate with site teams to resolve design issues and provide technical guidance.

- D. Technical Expertise
- • Strong knowledge of joinery details, hardware, assembly methods, and finishing processes.
- • Expertise in metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, etc.
- • Ability to convert design intent into production-ready drawings and CNC-compatible files.
- • Ensure adherence to safety codes, compliance, and ergonomic requirements.

- E. Project & Process Management
- • Drive design planning based on project timelines and fabrication schedules.
- • Ensure timely release of GFC (Good for Construction) and shop drawings.
- • Maintain drawing logs, revision control, and documentation accuracy.
- • Identify gaps in design early and propose practical solutions.
