Architect / Architectural Draftsman – Shop Drawings for Bakery & Steakhouse (445 sqm)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architect / Architectural Draftsman to prepare a full set of architectural shop drawings for a two-floor, 445 square meter commercial project consisting of a bakery and steakhouse. The successful candidate will produce detailed, accurate, and code-compliant drawings suitable for contractor use and authority submissions within the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete architectural shop drawings including:

• Floor plans, furniture layouts, and wall setting-out plans

• Bakery, kitchen, and steakhouse equipment layouts

• Reflected ceiling plans, flooring plans, and finish schedules

• Internal elevations and architectural sections

• Detailed joinery, counter, washroom, and custom feature drawings

• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes, municipal standards, food safety requirements, and civil defense regulations

• Coordinate with MEP inputs to ensure complete integration of services

• Provide final deliverables in both PDF and DWG formats

• Accommodate up to three revision cycles as needed

Essential Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience producing architectural shop drawings for multiple restaurants and cafés

• Strong understanding of UAE F&B industry regulations and authority requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)

• Demonstrated ability to generate detailed, construction-ready documentation

• Portfolio showcasing several completed restaurant/café projects (mandatory)

AED 7,000 (fixed project compensation)
