Architect / Estimating Engineer

We are a leading Canadian Construction Company actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect / Estimating Engineer to join us. We specialize in delivering high-quality construction projects, and we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our continued success.

Responsibilities:

Experience in Canadian-Based Cost Estimation:

Conduct detailed material takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects, adhering to Canadian-based cost estimation practices.

Ability to make the quotation and send to Customers:

Candidate have the ability to prepare the quotation by calculating the SQFT of the building through drawings and send it to customers.

Designing of the project:

Candidate should have the ability to make the design of a project.

Scope of Work Preparation:

Prepare comprehensive scopes of work for construction projects, detailing project requirements and specifications.

Negotiation with Subcontractors:

Utilize negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms with subcontractors.

Bid Proposal Management:

Ability to bid proposals from subcontractors, evaluating and comparing quotes to make informed decisions.

Project Collaboration:

Collaborate with project management teams to develop cost-controlling strategies and optimize project budgets, specifically for high-rise and multi-family buildings.

Market Awareness:

Stay updated on industry trends, construction materials, and market pricing to provide accurate and competitive estimates.

Other Duties assigned by the management

SKILLS:

Conduct detailed material takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects.

Interpret technical drawings, including Plans, Sections, and Elevations.

Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Google Sheets, Plan swift, and other relevant applications for accurate calculations and graphical data analysis.

Oversee construction projects and manage bids effectively, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

Collaborate with project management teams to develop cost-controlling strategies and optimize project budgets.

Stay updated on industry trends, construction materials, and market pricing to provide accurate and competitive estimates.

Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements.

Apply strong project management skills to coordinate and monitor construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture Engineering from a HEC Recognized University.

Proficiency in interpreting bid documents and technical drawings.

Expertise in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and Plan swift.

Minimum of 6 Months or + of hands-on experience in the Estimation Field.

Familiarity with bid management processes and cost-controlling strategies.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

7Shift Schedule - Monday to Friday , 07:00 pm to 03:00 am.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
