Job Summary:

The Senior Architect/Interior Designer acts as a key link between the architectural team and the Design Head, leading complex healthcare projects from concept through execution. This role involves design leadership, technical oversight, and team management, ensuring that projects meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory standards. The Senior Architect will coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders, while mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Lead the design and development of healthcare facility projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.

2) Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

3) Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design consultants to integrate multidisciplinary inputs into cohesive project solutions.

4) Mentor, supervise, and allocate tasks to architects, designers, and interns; provide technical guidance and review deliverables for quality and accuracy.

5) Conduct regular team meetings to monitor project progress, resolve design challenges, and ensure timely delivery.

6) Engage with clients to understand project objectives, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.

7) Support the Design Head in implementing design strategies, standards, and quality control processes across projects.

8) Participate in site visits, inspections, and coordination meetings with contractors and vendors.

9) Ensure adherence to statutory codes, safety standards, and sustainable design practices.

10) Assist in value engineering exercises to optimize costs while maintaining design intent.

11) Contribute to business development efforts by preparing technical presentations and supporting proposal submissions.

Team Management Responsibilities for People Manager Role

12) Lead, motivate, and develop a team of architects and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

13) Delegate responsibilities effectively, balancing workloads and leveraging team strengths.

14) Provide coaching, feedback, and support for professional growth and skill development.

15) Organize and facilitate design reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training workshops.

16) Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 35 – 48 per week
