• Work with architectural software, primarily AutoCAD, for creating drawings.
• May also involve other design software like SketchUp or 3ds Max.
• Ensure designs comply with safety and accessibility standards.
• Client and project management:
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
• Coordinate with other professionals, such as engineers and contractors.
• Handle project-related tasks, including site coordination and client handling.
• Material and finish selection:
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for modular furniture projects.
• Ensure selections align with budget and design aesthetics.

Common qualifications

• Education: A diploma or degree in architecture or interior design is often required.
• Experience:
