Architect - Sustainable Design & Green Buildings / 2–3 yrs exp

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect with 2–3 years of professional experience to join

our multidisciplinary team. The role involves designing sustainable buildings, preparing architectural

drawings, supporting green building certification projects (IGBC, GRIHA, LEED), and collaborating

with engineering and renewable energy teams for integrated project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch); registration with the Council of Architecture

(COA) preferred.

• Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in architectural design, with exposure to sustainable

or green building projects preferred.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar design tools.

o Familiarity with building energy efficiency principles and sustainable materials.

o Knowledge of IGBC/GRIHA/LEED certification process is an advantage.

• Soft Skills:

o Strong design sense with attention to detail.

o Good communication and presentation skills.

o Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design

o Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed architectural drawings for residential, commercial,

and industrial projects.

o Assist in preparing feasibility studies, working drawings, 3D models, and project presentations.

o Collaborate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, MEP, and renewable energy

systems into architectural designs.

• Sustainable & Green Building Design

o Incorporate energy efficiency measures, passive design strategies, and sustainable materials in

projects.

o Support certification processes for IGBC, GRIHA, LEED, and other green building standards.

o Work on retrofitting and redevelopment projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and

environmental performance.

• Project Coordination

o Conduct site evaluations, surveys, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants.

o Support project management tasks, including documentation, compliance checks, and authority

approvals.

o Ensure designs comply with local building codes, planning norms, and international

sustainability guidelines.

• Collaboration

o Work closely with the in-house renewable energy, solar EPC, and sustainability teams to

integrate clean energy systems into building projects.

o Liaise with external partners, government agencies, and certification bodies for approvals and

compliance.
