Architects or Senior Architects

Ictinus Engineering Consultants are looking for Architects/Senior Architects with 5 to 20 years of experience in Dubai or similar markets.

Responsibilities:

* Develop ideas keeping in mind the project needs, buildings usage and ensure high quality, innovative and functional design

* Responsible for creating and developing LOD300 BIM using Revit. AutoCAD detailing is also preferred.

* Produce 3D models, BIM documentation, and detailed working drawings that meet project requirements and local building regulations.

* Coordinate with other consultant's models for accurate BIM integration.

* Collaborate with design/project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to deliver project milestones on time.

* Attend consultant’s meetings and liaise with construction professionals.

* Conduct design reviews, clash detection, and resolve issues related to design and BIM models.

* Ensure all designs are compliant with Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations, building codes, and international standards.

* Provide technical support during project execution.

* Following other disciplines’ feedback, incorporating all comments in work, ensuring accuracy in all drawings.

* Prepare working drawings production schedule as per project stages

* Produce fully coordinated and accurate set of drawings

* Able to print various formats of drawing sets for the project.

Qualifications:

* Experience: Minimum of 5 to 20 years of experience as an Architect with hands-on Revit modeling experience in the UAE or similar markets.

* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is a must. Knowledge of other architectural softwares like Navisworks, Enscape and Adobe Photoshop. Sketchup and 3D Max is an advantage.

* Strong understanding of BIM workflows and experience in clash detection, coordination, and model validation.

* Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, quality standards and approval processes in Dubai.

* Strong Portfolio to prove artistic skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

* Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software.

* Can work independently with minimal supervision.

* Ability to manage and deliver project documents on tight deadlines.

* Professional certification in Revit or BIM is preferred.

* Team player.

* Member of a professional organization
