Position Overview

Bottega Surfaces is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Architectural & Design Account Executive to help expand our presence within the luxury residential and commercial design markets throughout the United States.

This role is focused on developing relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, hospitality groups, and other key decision-makers involved in specifying premium natural stone and custom fabricated surfaces. The ideal candidate is professional, polished, self-motivated, and comfortable spending significant time traveling to meet clients, visit project sites, attend industry events, and represent the Bottega Surfaces brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, hospitality groups, and other industry professionals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets throughout the United States
  • Visit design firms, architecture firms, builders, and project sites on a regular basis
  • Promote Bottega Surfaces' products, custom fabrication capabilities, and brand within the Architectural & Design community
  • Generate specifications and project opportunities for both luxury residential and commercial projects
  • Conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, showroom events, and client meetings
  • Coordinate project opportunities with internal sales, fabrication, and management teams
  • Track leads, opportunities, and client activity within CRM systems
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, design conferences, and industry functions
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Bottega Surfaces and represent the company with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, account management, outside sales, specification sales, or Architectural & Design sales
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a travel-intensive schedule
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States

Preferred Experience

  • Natural stone, tile, surfacing, flooring, cabinetry, luxury building products, or related industries
  • Architectural and interior design specification sales
  • Commercial project development
  • Luxury residential construction and design markets
  • Existing relationships within the A&D community

Pay: From $104,000.00 per year
