(Full-time & In-Person Position) - No Remote Work

C2 Design Group is currently seeking a talented Architectural Designer with a minimum of 7 years' experience to join our Schenectady office. The qualified candidate will possess a desire to learn and grow with the firm. We design spaces where people live, work, and play.

Responsibilities
The qualified candidate will follow directions from a Principal or Project Manager and assist project teams.

• Assist with all phases of a project from schematic design to construction administration
• Assist with field measurements, documenting existing building conditions to draft/model base plans
• Perform architectural assignments including preparation of plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
• Assist with project and materials research
• Prepare presentation materials and design boards
• Attend in-house team meetings

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree
• Minimum of 7 years of experience
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit is required
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Desire to learn and be part of a collaborative design team
• Focused on Architectural Experience Program - started documenting progress and is working toward meeting core competencies. May be in the process of completing applicable sections of the ARE
• Adheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
