Architectural Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architectural Designer to join our creative team. Duties

• Transportation from point A to point B for clients and site visits (inspections or revisions).
• Valid Drivers license.
• Develop conceptual design schemes and translate them into detailed architectural drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, or MicroStation.
• Create 3D models and visualizations with tools like SketchUp, to communicate design intent effectively.
• Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including schematics, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details that adhere to building codes and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems, interior layouts, and graphic elements seamlessly into the overall design.
• Utilize Bluebeam for markup reviews and document management to ensure accuracy and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in system design and drafting for specialized projects such as mechanical systems or interior environments.
• Support project presentations through 2D animation or graphic design techniques that enhance client understanding and engagement.

Experience

• Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in drafting and modeling across diverse project types.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit.
• Skilled in using visualization tools like SketchUp, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper), 3ds Max, or similar for creating compelling 3D renderings.
• Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and schematic development to ensure designs are feasible and compliant.
• Familiarity with interior design principles as well as mechanical system integration within architectural projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately while maintaining attention to detail in all phases of design development.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on complex projects requiring system design or graphic communication.
